I’ll have to clean the house. 
I love it when things look nice in my home; I just don’t love the effort it takes to get/keep it that way. I have definitely missed out on the Carol Brady gene. Though from memory she had a housekeeper (just what I need) and way too many kids (exactly what I don’t need!).
On a brighter note, I went and signed up for a scrapbooking class because (1) I need another expensive hobby; and (2) I still have Bloss’ debutante photos hanging around here somewhere in an envelope. I’d much rather cut up and glue little bits of paper than do the vacuuming. Actually, I’d rather do almost anything than do the vacuuming (except for maybe mowing the lawns).
Maybe I will be a domestic goddess in my next life? Though really I think any life is too short for that, so maybe I got the Erma Bombeck gene instead.
I do make great cakes though ~ and I do want a red Kitchen Aid mixer.
